SprayKo Custom Rig Assembly McCall, ID USA
Our Company

About Us
SprayKo evolved from the successful development and pioneering of the original water blown soft cavity foams and eventual development and assimilation of cellulose. This hybrid system combination eliminated the waste attributed with foam wall shavings and increased the legitimacy of an environmentally friendly design due to the high recycled content of cellulose. Adhesive cellulose wall spray provides a legitimate cavity air seal and adhered surface tension similar to spray foam. The over all performance (thermal, sound, fire) of this hybrid soft foam / cellulose hybrid design equals or exceeds the performance of all foam or sprayed fiberglass
systems.

The SprayKo staff consists of former builders and carpenters that went on a quest for practical, energy efficient, insulation system designs. Designs that would provide a superior, static,
lifetime of energy savings without affecting typical job site scheduling or change the
conventional framing drywall sequence. The foam and fiber rig assemblies that are designed and built by SprayKo were prototyped and service applied under diverse field conditions and several climate zones. Consistent material deliveries and production oriented designs lead to enhanced profits and minimal callbacks.

The SprayKo Team

Joseph Swinford
The principle manager of SprayKo worked his way up through the ranks of the construction trades. From the ground up as a laborer and then crew leader forming concrete foundations to a framer and then legitimate carpenter schooled by Amish craftsman and specializing in fire restoration and then as a supervisor for commercial
construction. This background provided the tools to run a successful design/build contracting business that gave way to the passion of developing practical energy efficient building systems. Joseph was one of the first contractors in the United States to successfully utilize and build a business with water blown soft cavity foams. The original material sprayed by his company was developed in Toronto and eventually became the marketing powerhouse Icynene. Constantly looking for superior spray foam products with user friendly attributes Swinford teamed up with Demilec of Canada spraying and providing feedback during the development of SEALection500. Swinford’s crew sprayed the first set of SEALection 500 delivered to America. EnergySEAL Systems was developed by Joseph and became one of the first successful hybrid system insulation contractors in the United States. Swinford left EnergySEAL to consult and serve as the technical director for BioBased systems. He established their training program and spent countless hours on product improvement before leaving to establish a new business dedicated to improving equipment and green build design performance. Swinford is familiar with the chemistry and has also personally prepared samples for testing critical to spray foam fire suppression and thermal resistance at UL and Omega. During the winter Joseph will take you into the mountains snowmobiling and during the summer jet boating on the wild rivers of Idaho to bond the SprayKo team..

Tahoe Winter
Tahoe has worked alongside and partnered with Joseph for over twenty years. He is a master carpenter, metal fabricator and urethane technician. All of the above accomplishments were not possible without his wise counsel and tremendous work ethic. Tahoe worked as crew chief and has helped develop all of our hybrid system designs.Tahoe is responsible for rig assembly, design and training. Tahoe has prototyped and utilized the rigs and equipment that we sell and designate for your eventual success.
